Overview

The Canon EOS C70 Cinema features a Super35 DG0(Dual Gain Output) which is able to capture nuanced images up to 16+stops of high dynamic range. The Canon C70 comes with an innovative DGO system combines two separate gain readings for each photodiode on the sensor which helps emphasize saturation in bright areas and lower any noise especially in dark areas. The C70 also comes with an RF mount which can be used with any RF lenses. With a video resolution of 4K, the Canon C70 captures at rates ranging from 23.98 to 60 fps with high speed options of up to 120 fps in 4K and up to 180 fps in cropped 2K.The Canon C70 also has a Dual Pixel CMOS AF autofocus control, a BNJC timecode input/output connector as well as two built-in dual mini-XLR audio inputs.

The Canon C70 can automatically adjust ISO as well as Gain Control by using DGO which will enable you focus on framing instead of aperture control.

The EOS C70 comes in as the first Cinema camera with enhances image stabilization. When the Canon C70 is used with an RF-mount lens it has a coordinated control which optimizes hand-shake correction for greater vibration reduction.

Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus with Touch AF and Face Detection

This is the first camera to feature the EOS iTR AF X autofocus function which features a head-detection algorithm technology which has been developed by the use of deep-learning technology.In the face detection mode, the head algorithm improves the distance measuring and tracking reliability even when subject makes sudden movements such as swinging head from back to side or back to back.

Log 2/3 and Cube LUT Support

In order to increase your flexibility especially during post-production, the Canon C70 offers Log 2 and Log 3 gamma modes which help provide you with a dynamic range with an excellent tonal reproduction especially for highlights as well as low-light areas of your footage.
