Overview of the Canon R5 C Cinema Camera

Canon EOS R5 C Mirrorless Cinema Camera is a full-frame photography and cinema camera with all the features of the R5 Canon mirrorless camera. For cinema, R5 C records 12-bit Cinema RAW Light and upto 8K/60p videos.

Building on the features found in EOS C70 and EOS R5, R5 C has such features as 4K120 recording, HDMI RAW output, Canon Log 3 HLG/PQ support, unlimited recording time, a timecode port, Dual Pixel CMOS AF with eye detection, an active cooling system, a high-power LP-E6NH battery, 13 reassignable buttons, and a multi-function shoe for XLR adapters. Other features of this camera are Bluetooth/Wi-Fi compatibility, footage compatibility with DaVinci Resolve and Canon apps, an electronic RF mount, CFexpress/SD card slots, a button layout, as well as moisture and dustproof.

A 45MP CMOS full-frame sensor enables it to achieve an impressive 8K/60p RAW cinematic video shooting. Continuous still-image capture is quite fast at speeds of up to 20 fps. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II capability, to track split second movements of even the most elusive subjects.
